Lovvers - OCD Go Go Girls
Turns out I've had this band's stuff on my iPod for nearly a year without ever listening to it. Why had I never bothered? Did I scroll over their name in the artists menu, briefly entertain the possibility of trying something new, before dismissing this idea and falling back on something more instantly crowd-pleasing (for my crowd of one - me). Could their band's name have been bookended by two infinitely more attractive-sounding possibilities? This has puzzled me.
Anyway, along with secret dancer Andrew Collins, comic artist Alan Moore and current Doctor Matt Smith, this band hail from Northampton (unrecognised as Britain's leading cultural hub, surely?), even though they sound largely American.
