Okay, so you may have noticed that we're no longer trading under the moniker of The Nude Statesman. This is not because we're being awkward, mischevious or outright pernickety.
We're setting out with the intention of creating a radio show that is, in essence, very similar to The Statesman - a wry collection of reviews, music, critical debates and pseudo-intellectual rants. 'The Nude Statesman' would have been a great and appropriate title for our show, if not for a major flaw in each of the title's words:
- 'Statesman', the singular, suggests that the programme is the domain of one presenter. There will, in fact, be three of us.
- The 'Nude' aspect implies that we will be performing the show naked, when in fact the exact opposite of this is true.
Thus, we have decided on the title you see on the banner above this; The Sound & The Fury. Not only does this sum up the show exactly, but it's also beastly. From here on in, we're sailing the good ship (and blog and radio show) Fury, and there's nothing you can do about it! We hope you forgive us for our wicked, wicked ways.
Our show - coming to you courtesy of Looprevil Radio - starts on Friday 19th of Feb, runs from 10-12 am and is weekly.
