Au Revoir Simone - Dark Halls



What's the direct opposite of fire? That's right, ice! Anybody else using this logic will quickly realise that Brooklyn hipster-types Au Revoir Simone are actually the direct opposite of Kraftwerk. 

Whilst essentially filling the exact same brief as the German legends (all band members of one gender, playing driving synthesizer music), their warm, welcoming pop songs stand in stark contrast to those of the 'Werk. Sure to be grabbing the attention of the music press sometime soon, Au Revoir Simone recently released their third album, Still Night, Still Light through ultra-cool UK label Moshi Moshi.
