Most of us in this so-called society meander through life without knowing a great deal about anything, particularly. On the surface, some of us may project an erudite, well-read image, but few of us can claim to have an in-depth knowledge about anything. We're all stinking liars, basically.

Author and journalist Naomi Klein is not like us normal, fallible humans, however. So blisteringly intelligent is she that I suspect she may have ingested the complete Encylopaedia Britannica at some point (imagine having her on your pub quiz team!), and her articles on politics and modern life expose some darker truths with a vehement lucidity.
Her lastest piece contemplates the fallout from President Obama's recent Nobel Peace Prize win. You can read it in full here, on her excellent website. (Yes Sean, this is the kind of thing I read in my spare time).
If only the press contained more journalists like her and fewer like disgraceful Daily Mail hack Richard Littlejohn; the world might just be a less hate-filled place...
Greg.
